The war memorial records the names of 41 local people. Of these 33 were killed during the Great War “To the Glory of God and in loving and grateful memory of those who from this parish gave their lives so nobly for King and country and home in the Great War 1914 – 1919” and 8 were killed during the Second World War, 1939 – 1945 They are remembered each Armistice Day.
Names on the War Memorial are being used for road names on new developments within Steventon.
The War Memorial is maintained by Steventon Parish Council.
